James "Jimmy" DeBoer
Managing Member
Jimmy started his career in 2008 in the “Tri-State” area consisting of Northeastern Colorado, Northwest Kansas, and Southwest Nebraska as an independent contractor for Noble Energy, Inc. This project consisted of field abstracting, mineral and surface research. After finishing up college in 2009, Jimmy took a position as a Land Tech at Transcontinent Oil Company, and quickly rose to project management. At TCO, Jimmy played a critical role in the development of their Abstracting Department, growing it from 4 people to over 35 and over-seeing dozens of projects in multiple states and plays. He was integral in the development of the second iteration of an abstract software platform, and was responsible for the business development of the software and project management of the department for over two years. In 2014, Jimmy decided that he could create more value for his clients independently and started Aurelius Energy, LLC. Jimmy has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colorado State University (2008) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado (2013).
